Visiting students from Thailand

We welcomed 2 medical students, Nat and Lilly from Thammasat University, Thailand for a month as part of an international elective program and participated in our research.

Apparently, Thammasat University is considered the second-best university in Thailand. The students who were sent to us were also highly motivated and enthusiastic. 😊

During their stay, they spent their weekdays fullly engaged with their supervisors, learning the fundamentals of research and gaining hands-on experience by assisting with actual research activities. It seems they spent their weekends enjoying sightseeing around Sapporo and others too, making the most of their Hokkaido experience.

Just before their final day, they gave presentations on their experiences and research. We had a wonderful time communicating and exchanging ideas at the newly opened Science Cafe. A big thank you to Nat and Lilly!
