This year's International Congress of Immunology was held in Beijing, China. It has been almost 30 years since Dr. Kobayashi last visited there. Not a very big surprise to see a heavy smog still, although at first I thought it was a picturesque morning fog! Ha ha ha. The conference itself was, slightly more on the domestic side (not many came from foreign countries). Drs. Peter Doherty, Jules Hoffmann, Tasuku Honjo were among guest speakers. What a great lineup!
