Dr. Ira Mellman who has been operating his lab over 20 years in Yale university and now serves as a Vice President in Genentech, and Dr. Rafi Ahmed from Emory University visited Sapporo for a short visit. Within Ira's former student Dr. Ono from Pediatrics department and Ira's disciples Dr. Mukai from Tokyo University, we went to Italian restaurant "Agora" as Dr. Ono suggested. The course comes with 10 dishes, using all sorts of ingredients from Hokkaido. Even with drinks, the total was 6,000 yen per person. Great cost performance. Both Ira and Ravi seemed to enjoy a lot, and we were very happy that we could host them.
